Kathleen J Warner
1925 - 2017

Kathleen J Warner, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away on Sunday July 2nd in the comforts of home.  She was born January 8, 1925 to Harry J Jordan and Bessie Agnes Shumway in Blanding, Utah.  She was married to Terrance P Lockhart on December 12, 1942.  She eventually moved to Chico, California and she lived there most of her life. They had 4 children: Pamela Hannan, Terree Mullen, Deborah Crossley and Bradley Lockhart.  Terrance passed away in 1957.  Later she met her sweet love, John W Warner and married June 4, 1960.  They celebrated 50 years of marriage before John passed.  She is survived by Kay’s 4 children, John’s 3 girls (Judy Frates, Karen Anderson and Becky D’Entremont), sister Bonnie Joy Coleman, 25 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren.

Kay was a woman of faith.  All through her struggles in life she chose to continually believe and put her faith in God.  Kay was always a loving and supportive, non-judgmental person.  She was a world traveler with her belated husband John.  Her favorite place  to visit was Hawaii.  She talked about it often in her later years and how she wanted to go back and play a game golf!  Kay had a love for music.   Hawaiian, Show tunes, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir were just a few of her favorites.  She loved to dance and enjoyed hosting parties at the drop of a hat.  When mom/grandma was around there was always delicious food and treats.  Kay was glamorous (although she would never admit it).  She never went anywhere (including the kitchen) without her shoes, lipstick and a tissue.  A beautiful woman inside and out.  She always had a smile on her face and looked for the good in all things.

In our hearts love lives on, and nothing beautiful (like our mother) is ever forgotten.  We will all miss her greatly.
